About the Lake:

Greenwood Lake is a 1,900 acre Lake straddling the state line separating New York from New Jersey. For more information see B.A.S.S. Times, January 1996, p. 32 Featured Fishery. The lake is not very long ( I'm guessing about 5 miles max). There is plenty of cover however.

When, Where and with What to fish:

To me, Greenwood Lake is one of the best lakes in the northeast for pre-spawn and spawn fishing. Daily limits are common. Rocky banks are common on the North end of the lake. Grubs and Rat-l-traps as well as the Rattln Rogue are good lures to catch bass along these banks. After the Spawn, the bass move into the weedbeds where you can have some real fun with a carolina rig. The southern end of the lake is nothing but a huge weedbed. In addition, to the rocky banks and weedbeds, don't neglect the boat docks up north.
