About the Lake:
Lake Hopatcong is definitely
one of the top 3 lakes for largemouth in NJ. Hopatcong is New
Jersey's largest lake with over 2700 acres. The lake has a
maximum depth of 58 feet and is approximately 8 miles long. The
lake has some good size fish with largemouth averaging 2-3
pounds, some 4-5 pounders as well as a few near the 7 pound
range.

If you want a good guide, hire Bill's Guide Service. Bill
has been fishing Hopatcong for years and runs some of his
tournaments here. He knows the lake well.
Recommended Boat Ramp:
Lee's County Park Marina-
The majority of the tournaments are run out of Lee's County Park
Marina. This ramp is as good as any. There is a launch fee- not
sure what it is now. There is ample parking for a 50 boat
tournament. There are at least two ramps and might be a third-
not sure. Lees Park is located in the South East section of the
lake in Van Every Cove. It is off of Howard Blvd in Mt.
Arlington.
